Russia continues to reduce ferrous imports
Russian ferrous product imports decreased over January-September, according to the country’s federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Nine-month imports of ferrous products under HS code heading 72 were 3.9 million tonnes, down by -31% on-year.
In September alone imports decreased by -2.8% compared with the previous month to 451,000t. In August imports were down -7.1% compared with July to 441,000t.
