Russia approves sale of Volkswagen plant: reports
Russia’s government commission for the control of foreign investments has approved the sale of the Volkswagen plant near Kaluga, reports Russian newspaper Vedomosti, citing informed sources.
The asset will, according to them, be sold to Russian auto dealer holding Avilon. The cost of the upcoming deal is unknown.
Neither the Russian government press service, VW nor Avilon replied to Kallanish request for comment on Thursday.
