Rumours spur iron ore prices
Seaborne iron ore prices increased again on Thursday on higher forward deals and market supply rumours.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $0.47/t on Thursday to $123.64/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was also $0.44/t higher at $138.54/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index hiked $0.11/t to $110.99/dmt cfr. 85,000 tonnes of BRBF fines were reportedly sold at $130/t with shipment between 24 March and 2 April.
