Rosatom develops bimetallic pipe for nuclear industry
Russia’s Research Institute of Inorganic Materials (VNIINM) has developed technology for the production of a two-layer thin-walled pipe for fuel rods for uranium-plutonium SNUP fuel. This has superior corrosion and heat resistance to currently used product, says Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom.
