Rongxin Steel celebrates upgrade project’s commissioning
China’s Hebei Rongxin Steel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinda Steel Group, has recently celebrated the commissioning of its capacity replacement and upgrade project at its existing plant, Kallanish notes.
The company has constructed a new 1,500 cubic metre-blast furnace and two 100-tonne converters, which have capacities for 1.26 million tonnes/year of iron and 2m t/y of steel.
