Rio signs Minmetals prospecting deal
Rio Tinto has formed a partnership with China’s Minmetals on global mineral exploration projects. The technical agreement allows the pair to collaborate more intensively on exploration projects internationally, Kallanish notes.
The pair had signed an agreement on global exploration collaboration in June to lay out a framework for cooperation.
