Rhine road bridge to be re-tendered
The reconstruction of the autobahn bridge crossing the Rhine from Cologne to Leverkusen will soon be newly put out to tender. Two weeks ago, the North Rhine Westphalia road authority Strassen.NRW cancelled the existing contract with Austrian construction group Porr on the basis that the quality of steel components supplied from China was insufficient.
