RHI Magnesita starts up new kiln
A new tunnel kiln was fired up at a German plant of RHI Magnesita, a maker of refractory products and solutions. The 122-meter-long lightweight kiln generates temperatures of up to 1,550°C and is used to fire bricks for the refractory lining of processing facilities for the steel, glass, cement, lime, energy and chemical industries.
