RHI Magnesita foresees lower steel demand impacting business
Refractories supplier RHI Magnesita anticipates a decline in demand for steel and other materials, which also means lower demand for high-grade refractory products that are critical for high-temperature processes exceeding 1,200°C.
The company says it expects a decline in construction activity will affect steel, cement, lime, non-ferrous metals and glass demand globally. Hence, RHI Magnesita anticipates lower sales volumes for its products in 2023.
