Revamped Industeel caster can produce 355-mm thick stainless steel slab
Italian equipment manufacturer Danieli has completed commissioning of a revamped slab caster at ArcelorMittal’s Industeel mill in Charleroi, Belgium. The caster produced the first 355mm thick slab on 8 September, Danieli confirms to Kallanish.
The project, including design, build, installation and commissioning took 17 months, the equipment supplier says.
