Xuzhou closures impact coking capacity
The Xuzhou government in Jiangsu Province has strengthened its restrictions on the coke industry in August. It is directing local cokemakers to integrate and upgrade equipment. The plan for Xuzhou coke distribution in 2020 is also being implemented, reducing coke capacity in Xuzhou to 8.59 million tonnes/year by mid-2020, Kallanish notes.
