Resonac to achieve full control over AMI Automation
Japan’s Resonac Corporation, previously known as Showa Denko, has decided to acquire 50% of the shares in AMI Automation in Mexico, thus achieving full control over the latter, Kallanish learns.
On 5 February 2021, Resonac purchased a 50% stake in AMI, with an option to acquire the remaining 50% shares within five years from that date. Subsequently, Resonac made the decision and plans to complete this transaction in the third quarter of 2023.
