Republic, Lab USA start ash metal recovery plant
Recycler Republic Services In and Lab USA have partnered to operate an ash metal recovery facility in Washington state’s Roosevelt Regional Landfill, Kallanish reports.
The reclamation facility is expected to recover up to 46,200 short tons of ferrous metal and 4,290 st of non-ferrous metal annually from ash residue generated by the landfill’s energy recycling system.
