Repeated Hadeed surge boosts Mid-East November production
Crude steel output in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by worldsteel’s monthly report rose 9.1% on-year in November to 2.94 million tonnes.
Production at Saudi Arabia’s largest steelmaker, Hadeed, registered a double-digit surge for the second-consecutive month, rising an estimated 75% to 470,000 tonnes. Output in the 11 months through November thus grew 10.5% on-year to 4.96mt.
