Reduced W.EU, US demand slashes Turkish pipe exports

Turkish welded pipe exports fell -7% on-year in March to 158,297 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $725/tonne versus $770/t in March 2018. The most-exported product was rectangular hollow sections despite a -13% drop in shipments to 72,368t.
