Reduced Romania, UK demand slashes Turkish pipe exports
Turkish welded pipe exports declined -9% on-year in June to 145,181 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The most-exported product category was HS code 730661, rectangular hollow sections, whose shipments abroad fell -13% to 67,290t. Iraq was the main market, taking in 16,439t, flat on-year, but Romanian intake fell -35% to 11,073t and the UK took in -36% less at 10,056t.
