Vale breaks production records again in 2016
Brazil’s Vale finished 2016 registering both quarterly and annual production records in its ferrous minerals segment, Kallanish learns from the miner's fourth quarter results report.
Vale achieved record volumes for its iron ore production to reach 348.8 million tonnes in 2016, an increase of 3.0mt year-on-year. The miner expects to produce 400 million tonnes/year by the end of 2018.
