Rebar steelworks to see Pakistan's Naveena enter steelmaking
Naveena Group is establishing a 300,000 tonnes/year rebar steelworks at Port Qasim, Karachi. This will be the Pakistani textile manufacturer’s first venture into the steel industry.
The plant, while will operate under the name Naveena Steel Mills (NSM), “... aims to fulfill the infrastructure development requirements of the country in the years to come,” Naveena Group says in a statement on its website.
