Rebar slump drives Turkey's August steel exports decline
Turkish steel exports decreased in August, hit by a -48% on-year plunge in rebar exports, says the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB).
August's steel exports from Turkey went down -21.2% y-o-y to 1.2 million tonnes and their total value fell -2.8% to $855 million, CIB informs in a statement. This follows monthly increases since the beginning of the year, notes Kallanish.
