US rebar prices set to rise
US rebar prices appear to be moving up, Kallanish reports.
A representative increase from Nucor ups rebar base prices by $25/short ton, effective immediately for new orders.
Extant confirmed orders will be price-protected through 10 March.
“As always, we will monitor the marketplace and respond accordingly in order to assure you of receiving a competitively priced product,” Nucor says in a customer letter.
