Rebar exporters hike offers to Singapore, Hong Kong
Rebar offer prices have risen slightly in Singapore this week, Kallanish notes. The market is quiet with no trades heard taking place.
A Malaysian mill’s offer for theoretical-weight rebar is at $545/tonne delivery by truck (dap), which would be equivalent to $540/t cfr Singapore. The mill’s offer is $5/t higher than last week. A leading Vietnamese mill’s export offer at $545-550/t cfr is up by $5-10/t from last week.
