UAE re-rollers lift rebar prices
In United Arab Emirates, Hamriyah Steel and Union Iron & Steel have revealed their rebar prices for November deliveries, they tell Kallanish.
Hamriyah has set its 12-40mm diameter rebar price for 3,000-5,000-tonne inquiries at AED 2,440/t ($664). This is up AED 125/t from the previous quote.
Union Iron & Steel quotes for the same material are at AED 2,490/t ($678) for a minimum 1,000t inquiry. This is up around AED 130/t from the previous quote.
