Raw material prices limit ATI profits
Falling raw material prices are keeping US specialty metals company Allegheny Technologies Inc’s (ATI) flat-rolled segment from gaining traction, but the company as a whole expects to post a profit in the second quarter, Kallanish reports.
ATI plans to announce earnings per share of $0.04-0.09 for the quarter ending 30 June on revenues of $865-890 million. In Q2 2016, ATI announced a loss of $19m, or $0.18/share, on revenues of $811m.
