Rare slab shipments support Turkey's March semis exports
Turkish semi-finished product exports surged 70% on-year in March to 96,820 tonnes, supported by rare shipments abroad of slab, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They also inched up from 90,246t in February.
The shipments of HS code 72012 comprised 20,118 tonnes to Belgium and 8,987t to France, at an average price of $577/tonne.
