Raja Paksi adds light sections mill
Indonesia’s PT Gunung Raja Paksi has ordered a new continuous light sections mill from SMS Group. The mill will be at a new site near the company’s main production base, which has recently installed an EAF and beam blank caster from SMS, Kallanish notes.
The new 500,000 tonnes/year mill will be able to produce equal and unequal angles, channels, H-beams, squares and hexagonal bars from 150mm and 200mm billets and 300x250mm beam blanks. The mill, incl…
