Rain hits Yancoal's June quarter production
China-backed Australian miner Yancoal saw its June quarter run-of-mine (100% basis) production figures plunge by 11% year-on-year to 15 million tonnes. This was hit by rainfall at its Hunter Valley operations in New South Wales, which impacted mining, rail and port activities during the quarter, Kallanish notes from the company's announcement.
