Rain hits Vale Oman fourth-quarter output
Vale’s Oman-based iron ore pelletising plant saw production fall -2% on-year in the fourth quarter of 2017 to 2.4 million tonnes due to “… unusually heavy” rainfall impacting the productivity of the plant, says the Brazilian miner. This production was also down -3.4% on Q3.
