Qujjing Chenggang ignites No.1 blast furnace
Chenggang Company, a subsidiary of Yunnan Qujing Iron & Steel Group, has ignited its No.1 blast furnace, according to the construction contractor, YCIH Installation Co., Ltd.
It has a design capacity of 1.13 million tonnes/year of iron, Kallanish notes. According to the original schedule, the entire project was set for completion by end-2023.
