French rebar market quietens in November
French domestic rebar prices are steady compared to last month and in line with those in Southern Europe, market sources tell Kallanish.
Prices are now at €270-280/tonne ($305.8-317.1/t) base delivered. French construction sector demand however is more sustained and reliable compared to Italy and Spain, which is causing the domestic rebar market to be more stable, sources say.
