Worthington's quarterly results hit by steel prices, but stability beckons
Worthington Industries was hit by lower selling prices, lower volumes, and higher inventory losses in its fiscal 2015 fourth quarter ended 31 May 2015. The US processor and manufacturer says it is beginning to see a more stabilised steel pricing environment. While the automotive and construction markets have been showing more resiliency, other areas, such as agriculture, are less than robust, it adds.
