Tesla nickel battery demand news boosts Qingdao Zhongcheng
Tesla chief executive Elon Musk said at the firm’s shareholder meeting held on 23 September that its demand for nickel in batteries would increase. Boosted by this news, Chinese listed company Qingdao Zhongcheng saw its stock soar by 20% on the same day.
