Risun Wei Shan hits coking project waypoint
PT Risun Wei Shan Indonesia, Risun Group's subsidiary, ignited its fourth coke oven, the No. 2 coke oven battery, on 31 December 2023. This marks the commissioning of two-thirds of the Sulawesi-based coking project.
Kallanish notes that the coking capacity of this project is designed to reach 4.8 million tonnes/year across six batteries, so 3.2m t/y of coke will be produced when the number two oven achieves full production.
