PT Antam hikes nickel output and sales
Indonesian state-owned miner Aneka Tambang (Antam) expects output of ferronickel to have reached 24,868 tonnes in 2018, up 14% from 2017, according to recent statistics released by the company. Meanwhile, ferronickel sales are also expected to have increased by 10% to 24,135t last year.
Antam said the increased outout was mainly due to the effective operation of its plant at Pomalaa, with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes/year.
