Proton grows total car sales in 2023
Malaysia's national carmaker Proton closed 2023 by posting its best sales performance since 2012 with the fifth consecutive year of sales growth, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that 12,711 units were sold in December to bring its total sales figure in 2023 to 154,611 units, a 9.3% increase over the 141,432 units sold in 2022.
