Tangshan restrictions lower steel strip output
Tangshan in Hebei Province implemented production restrictions for controlling air pollution in May (see Kallanish passim). At the beginning of May, most blast furnaces in Tangshan were therefore involved in some refurbishment and this has had a knock-on effect for steel strip output.
