Price rally continues for Italian rebar
Italian rebar prices are increasing in new contracts by a further €10/tonne ($12) week-on-week after producers pushed up quotes this month by €40-50/t compared to the beginning of November.
While some producers are now quoting €200/t base ex-works, some offers this week have soared to the level of €220/t base ex-works. This is in line with the steep increases seen in scrap and other long products, Kallanish learns from market participants.
