US sheet prices range from high to higher
Hot and cold-rolled coil sheet prices have been characterised as “all over the charts", Kallanish hears from market sources.
As previously reported by Kallanish, HRC ranges from $1,460-1,500/short ton, while cold-rolled coil ranges from $1,800-1,900/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
One service centre executive sees average costs for HRC of about $1,450/st, with cold-rolled costs coming in mostly at $1,825/st.
