Posco, Vale collaborate to produce HBI
South Korean steel producer Posco and Brazilian miner Vale have signed a memorandum of understanding on 1 August at Vale's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro to boost the production of low-carbon steelmaking materials.
Lee Joo-tae, head of the purchasing and investment division at Posco, and Luiz Meriz, global director iron ore at Vale, signed the agreement on behalf of both companies.
