Posco upgrades Gwangyang blast furnace
Major South Korean steelmaker Posco hopes to upgrade a blast furnace at its Gwangyang plant to increase production efficiency and reduce heat loss and pollution emissions, Kallanish notes. The construction had been planned to start since early 2020.
