Overseas steel ops boost Posco profits
South Korea’s Posco saw operating and net profits improve in the third quarter 2017 on the back of higher production and a stronger performance from its overseas subsidiaries, according to its Q3 report. The company still struggled to profit from its Indonesian and Vietnamese subsidiaries however, Kallanish notes.
