Portugal's Lusosider grows sales in 2017
Lusosider, the sole Portuguese supplier of flat products, controlled by Brazil's CSN, continued to grow its sales volumes last year, Kallanish learns from the group’s annual results.
In 2017 Lusosider sold some 364,000 tonnes of products in the market, up over 3% year-on-year. The recovery since 2014 when sales were close to 300,000t, has been in the order of 20% Kallanish notes.
