Port of Houston steel volumes continue to rise
The Port of Houston is seeing elevated steel volumes as it continues its $39.7 million upgrade, Kallanish reports.
Steel movements through the port of Houston are up 14% on year as of 2 August, the port notes.
“Overall business continues to be strong through our port,” says executive director Roger Guenther said. “We look forward to that continuing for the rest of the year.”
