Port Houston sees increasing steel imports, plans expansion
Port Houston is reporting a significant increase in steel imports during the month of September and is planning an expansion to handle the increasing activity.
September steel imports into the major port were up 161% year-on-year, pushing year-to-date imports up 28% over the first nine months of 2020.
