Port Hedland's May iron ore shipments grow
Iron ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland in May rose 4.25% to 47.73 million tonnes from 45.78 mt in April, Kallanish notes.
According to Pilbara Ports Authority data, iron ore exports made from Port Hedland to China grew 2.52% to 40.45 mt in May from 39.46 mt in April.
Meanwhile, iron ore shipments to South Korea and Japan, climbed to 2.81mt and 2.64mt in May, from 3.1mt and 1.72mt respectively in April.
