Port Hedland ships 49.8 mt iron ore in June
The Pilbara Ports Authority in Australlia has delivered a total monthly throughput of 65.9 million tonnes for June, which was a 4% increase compared to June 2021, Kallanish notes.
The port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 50.3 mt, of which 49.8mt was iron ore exports. This was a 1% decrease in total throughput compared to 50.38mt in June 2021.
As compared to May, iron ore shipments from Port Hedland rose 4% from 47.73mt.
