Port Hedland October iron ore shipments hit 46.89mt
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia rose month-on-month in October, but remained flat as compared to a year ago, Kallanish notes.
According to Pilbara Ports Authority data, the port's iron ore exports increased by 4.03% to 46.89 million tonnes in October from 45.07m in September. However, on a year-on-year comparison, the iron ore shipment remained flat.
