Port Hedland iron ore shipments slip in September
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia fell month-on-month and year-on-year in September, Kallanish notes.
According to Pilbara Ports Authority data, the port's iron ore exports dropped by 5.75% to 45.07 million tonnes in September from 47.82mt in August.
Year-on-year comparison showed the shipments also slipped 1.93% from 45.96mt a year ago.
