Port Hedland iron ore shipments decline in February
Australia's Port Hedland saw iron ore exports to China decline in February alongside a further decline in total shipments from the port. Exports hit the lowest level since March 2019, Kallanish notes.
Due to seasonal weather in Australia, February shipments were lower than January exports. The port was closed for 16 hours in February 2021 due to Tropical Low 12U.
