Port Hedland iron ore shipments decline in April

Australia's Port Hedland saw iron ore shipments in April decline slightly compared with March, even though China's crude steel production still maintained a positive upward trend, Kallanish notes. Pilbara Ports Authority data shows Port Hedland achieved iron ore shipments of 45.1 million tonnes in April, down 3.4% compared to March and a decline of 0.4% year-on-year.
