Port Hedland iron ore shipments hit 2021 low
Port Hedland's August shipments of iron ore reached their lowest level for the year so far under the impact of Chinese production restrictions and scheduled terminal maintenance in Australia, Kallanish notes.
Port Hedland iron ore exports in August slumped by 0.8% month-on-month and 4.6% year-on-year to 43.92 million tonnes, according to Pilbara Ports Authority data.
